and I'm a Photographer from Newcastle, UK.

Since graduating University in 2011, I've had a very unconventional path into photography. With no formal photographic training but 6 years worth of experience working in the media industry. I learnt my trade with a camera working as a first assistant to one of the North-East’s leading sports and lifestyle photographers.

Learning as I go, and getting the chance to visit some pretty amazing places along the way.

Theres no better education than that!

I find a lot of influence comes from my love for film, so I'd describe my style as

documentary storytelling with a splash of cinematic charm.

 

I'll take real moments over staged ones 9 times out of 10. Documenting your day naturally and with very little intrusion and with that in mind I like to capture the day with very little interference. Letting everything unfold as you planned, and only stepping in when needed. Observing and waiting for those unmissable moments to present themselves.
